1 species, 5 provenances, 100 seedlings per provenance (10 families with 10 offspring each).
Total: 500 seedlings distributed over an area of ~125 m2.
Two species, small
Two species, small
2 species, 5 provenances each, 100 seedlings per provenance (10 families with 10 offspring each).
Total: 1000 seedlings distributed over an area of ~250 m2.
One species, large
One species, large
1 species, 10 provenances, 100 seedlings per provenance (10 families with 10 offspring each).
Total: 1000 seedlings distributed over an area of ~125 m2.
Two species, large

2 species, 10 provenances each, 100 seedlings per provenance (10 families with 10 offspring each).
Total: 2000 seedlings distributed over an area of ~500 m2.

Please note that participanting institutes will receive dry, non-stratified seeds at the beginning of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024. We expect participants to stratify the seeds and sow them in the nurseries in the following spring.
